For those of you who have recently looked at your ZAGBA calendar which is hopefully hanging somewhere convenient, you will have noticed that last week was the 26th
birthday of ZAGBA. Twenty-six years ago, ZAGBA was recognized by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an entity. Of course for a few years before that there was work towards creating a community, writing a constitution and forming an association. We are thankful to all of you who served the ZAGBA community in its early days as well as all the years in between. It is through your hard work that our community has grown and continues to flourish.
NOMINATIONS FOR ZAGBA BOARD
On March 20th, 2010, there will be a new ZAGBA Board. If you are interested in nominating anyone for that board (with their permission), or being on the board, or learning more about any of the positions, please send an email toZAGBA@hotmail.com by February 28, 2010.
2010-2011 ZAGBA CALENDAR
And a reminder for the 2010-2011 ZAGBA calendar. Thanks to those who have ordered calendars and sent photos for your spots/dates. A number of you have requested additional time to find photos, so for all of you who would like to still be part of this community calendar, please send in your photos/spots/dates/calendar orders by Feb 28th at the latest. NEXT EVENTS
Sunday, February 28 – Tubing at Nashoba
Valley Tubing Park at 2 pm www.skinashoba.com/tubing, followed by dinner buffet at Yangtze River in Littleton at 5 pm. Please RSVP tozagba@hotmail.com if you are coming to either or both activities so we can coordinate tickets and meeting times and exchange cell phone numbers.
Saturday, March 20 – Norooz/Navroze Function at St. Michael’s in Bedford at 6 pm. Details of the menu, venue, cost, entertainment, membership dues, children’s giving project presentations, etc will be sent shortly. Please plan to attend this fun evening celebrating the new year!
