USA, towards Miss Illinois USA 2012, Zenobia Ravji

We can all be proud that Zenobia Ravji, daughter of Mobed Jamshed and Dinaz Ravji, members of the Zoroastrian Association of Chicago, and niece of Mehernosh and Sherna Kasad, members of Zoroastrian Society of British Columbia, Vancouver, has been selected from hundreds of applicants, as an official State Finalist in the 2012 Miss Illinois USA Pageant to be held in November 2011 in Chicago.  The winner, of course will represent Illinois in the MISS USA 2012 pageant.
Zenobia is a very accomplished young lady (with degrees from University of Illinois in economics, Spanish and health sciences, and a masters in public policy), has received a number of awards and fellowships, won the position of Illinois Student Senator and has led groups of students on volunteer projects around the world. “I aspire to be a broadcast journalist and eventually have my own talk show, much like Oprah,” writes Zenobia, “My mission is to have an affirmative impact on humanity by focusing on educating and inspiring young people, in whose hands lie our future.”
Businesses and individuals are invited to be a sponsor and help towards her goal of raising funds to cover pageant costs (Attire, training, travel, hotel, production costs, etc will go up to $10,300 and more).  The first 25 sponsors will be recognized and featured in the Official State Program and in Illinois Statewide press coverage if their donation is received before August 15, 2011. However, donations will be collected until November 1, 2011.
Kindly make your donation payable to Zenobia Ravji and mail it to:
