The Kushti is the sacred girdle that is one of the professions of Zoroastrian faith. This is Dara Jokhi and his mother in Navsari, two Parsis, descendent’s of the ancient Iranians who, according to their tale, fled Iran to escape persecution after the eclipse of Zoroastrian power with the rise of Islam following the fall of the Sasanian empire.
