Two Parsi Zarathushtis in India’s movie industry were given
national awards in the presence of the President of India, at the 56th
National Awards ceremony in India recently, as reported by India Journal
issue of April 2, 2010.
Sooni Taraporewala won the award for the Best Film on family values for her
movie ‘Little Zizou’ and Ronnie Screwvala for his production of the movies
‘Fashion’, ‘Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye’, ‘A Wednesday’, and ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ that
all won awards in different categories.
